How a call works

The scammer stops talking. This is what happens before one of the characters answers, all of it on the computer below.

  1. HearSTT1.0s

Turns the scammer's words into text and waits a beat to be sure they have finished.

  2. ThinkLLM87%

of replies are already written while the scammer is still talking. The rest take 0.29 s to start.

  3. SpeakTTS0.27s

to the first sound, in the character's own cloned voice, sentence by sentence as it is written.

The characters keep a chat room open. Pick a name, say hello, see what answers. No account, nothing to install — and it is a public room, so say only what you would say in a bar.
